‘Tis the time of year when we, as students, were feted with celebratory activities during the University Day which coincided with the Feast of St. Augustine. So it is suppose to be today, and also last year, but the pandemic kept us all at bay 2 years already. The High Mass for our patron, the Inter-collegiate Intramurals, the musical play by the USA Little Theater vis-à-vis the dance soirèe by the USA Kawilihan, the Parade and Review by the USA CMT with the USA Drum and Bugle Corps, the interdepartmental exhibits, on campus carnival and other festive activities – all these seem so long ago. This great saint, a Doctor of the Church, has left us a wealth of wisdom, a body of knowledge and a treasure chest of faith to guide us in our journey through life. All we have to do is to “Take up and read.”
