Almighty Father – our loving and faithful God, teach us to be generous especially during the hardest times of our life. Teach us to be more like you when we feel that we are so much occupied of ourselves. Help us to see things in faith when we are unable to understand what is happening around us. Encourage us to love those who have hurt us the way you love them.

Dearest Jesus – our Lord and Savior, be with us always. Stay with us in the midst of all uncertainties and fears. The MU SIGMA PHIans together with our loved brothers SIGMA CHIans are begging and pleading you with the words of Cleophas and his companion on the road to Emmaus – STAY WITH US. Illumine our minds, listen to our hearts’ longings and desires. When you walk with them on their way to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-55), you did not mind the long road ahead, rather you kept on talking and patiently explaining to them what happened in Jerusalem.

Oh Holy Spirit – our Advocate and Counselor, you know that our organization has its ups and down. However, as you guide us – remind us of our vision of Sacrifice, Loyalty, Obedience, and Service to one another, to our dear Alma Mater and to our beloved country so that we might not be at lost in our journey. Your presence kept us to move on especially in this pandemic time.

Holy Triune God, we believe that you are our ultimate assurance and the greatest protector, ready to pick us up when we fall. For that thank you so much. We are now in our 59th year of existence since it was founded by our Brother Tomas Alejan Sajo. In a special manner we ask you to take care of him and to receive him in the eternal kingdom.

With gratitude in our hearts for these years of existence, let our immense joy be transformed into action of charity in this time of adversity. Make us instrument of your love. Let our hands be yours as we give selfless service, our material resources, our time and sacrifices. Let our feet be yours so that when we feel so tired we can still move on since you carried us. Let the words that will come out from our mouths be yours so that no words of misunderstanding and sarcasm hurt our less fortunate brothers and sisters in need. All in all, let us all be instrument of your great love.

As the word of St. Francis we say.

O Divine Master, grant that we may
Not so much seek to be consoled as to console
To be understood, as to understand

To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
And it’s in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

We ask all these in Jesus name and through the prayer and intercession of our beloved Mother Mary and the prayers of all the angels and saints especially St. Augustine, our school patron.
