My wife, a graduate of San Juan De Dios Hospital School of Nursing, is a Registered Nurse from the Philippines. She is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. Presently, she is operating a healthcare business since she retiring from her employment with the local hospital in NJ. Born in Sara, Iloilo, she had a year stint at the College of Liberal Arts at the University of San Agustin before going to Manila.

Our two sons graduated from New York University (NYU) and Fordham University respectively. Both of them are working with Application Security, Inc., the company which Eric co-founded in the living room of his apartment in Manhattan, NY. You may visit their website www.Appsecinc.com . The business operation is global, and according to Eric, they have at least 100 employees at their New York City only. Both of them are busy in their business, the reason that up to now they are still single.

Yours truly was born in Pototan, Iloilo. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of San Agustin in 1964, and passed the CE Board Exam in the same year. I am also a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) here in U.S.A. since 1975, a General Coordinator of the USA Alumni Association Inc –Northeast, and a perpetual member of SIGMA CHI Fraternity.

Modesty aside, I have that kind of SIGMA CHIan confidence and pride. When I went home to Iloilo after the board exam, I was asked by my late father, and Mr. Rosauro Hubines (one of our instructors at USA), if I could pass it. Without hesitation I replied positively but I warned them not to tell anybody. In 1989, Mr. Hubines told the same story when he introduced me to the students of the College of Technology before I spoke at the auditorium. One summer of 1969, I was a reviewer for the CE Board Exam in structural design subjects (Timber, Steel, and Reinforced Concrete). Some students were freshmen when I left the university, and we have a nice time. If they were telling the truth, they only passed the subjects I reviewed with them.
