Words from the Chairman

Bilson Sorianosos De La Fuente
SCA Chairman, 2021-2024

Sixty years ago, our Brothers and Sisters recognized the value of Unity when they set out to create what we have right now, the SIGMA CHI Fraternity and the MU SIGMA PHI Sorority. More importantly, they saw the value in each and every one of us and laid the foundation upon which we should then build our edifices, together. And although time may ravage the walls of the University we once considered our home, we must come into the realization that we have not only an obligation to one another, but this generous principle extend further to our brotherhood and sisterhood in the Fraternity and Sorority. We all stand as a shining example of what and who we can become when we work together. But we charge each and every one of you to beware of complacency and comfortability for they are the enemies of Change and Unity.

We have created dialogue, we have created an exchange of information and have bonded together…But always remember to continually ask ourselves: What more can we do to solidify our Unity? Because in the next sixty years the faces in this organization may change, so what will be said about us and the foundation that we are laying here today? We urge you all therefore to cultivate our Unity; to allow it to permeate the very fabric of our daily lives and to make it a part of our brotherhood and sisterhood, for in doing so, our lives and our legacy will be an ever mindful example of our services, loyalty, obedience and sacrifices that have been made for us and because of us and invariably allowing us to… “Be the Difference!” Let us gather together as one, joyful family to renew and strengthen our commitment to our Fraternity and Sorority.

We take our hats off in appreciation our gift of brotherhood and sisterhood as well as our undying loyalty to the Fraternity and Sorority in honor of our founder, Atty. Tomas Alejan Sajo. This is such an honor to be given this task and we will do what we can to serve and give our best to our Brothers and Sisters and to act in accordance to what you expect from us. Thank you and may we be blessed in our endeavors. May this website bring us not only revival of our Fraternity and Sorority but more importantly, solidarity with one another.

Thank you!
